I had the pleasure of working with Offender Aid and Restoration (OAR) in my role as the creative director at CoCreate Studios, an independent production company in Arlington, VA. On this project, I worked closely with the Executive Director at OAR and her team to define the objectives and clarify the story they wanted to tell: a story focused on the help that OAR provides, keeping in mind the strength and resilience that OAR program participants themselves bring to the table.

I wrote a script with that focus in mind, and directed the crew, a feature actor, and some of the OAR staff through an intense half-day of production to get the images to go along with it. Our fantastic director of photography and editor, Chase Martin, brought the whole story to life with great work behind the camera and at the editing desk.

The result is one of the best projects I've ever produced.
